About Me

A little about the person behind MyGastritis.

↓

Hi, I’m Luis.

I’m a systems engineer, and I lived with chronic gastritis for years. After several doctors and repeated PPI prescriptions, I was still struggling, so I decided to take a more active role in finding answers.

That search got messy. Lemon water helped some symptoms, but I kept drinking it while my stomach pain got worse. I learned the hard way that relief and recovery weren’t the same thing.

Sea buckthorn oil (Oliovita), and later vitamin A, became turning points for me. But vitamin A also came with side effects, and neither was the end of the story.

I’m doing much better now. My latest biopsy no longer said chronic gastritis, though I still have bile reflux and other findings to work on. This website is where I share the reports, progress, and mistakes behind that journey.
